A MUSICAL JOURNEY MERGING SOULFUL EMOTION

WITH ORIGINAL INNOVATION

Something Out Of is a modern jazz fusion project blending groove, grit, and ethereal textures into a genre-bending experience. This Colorado-based collective fuses jazz sophistication with funk, rock, and cinematic soul.

Our debut album, “What if…” is both a question and a statement, pushing the boundaries of improvisation, while deeply rooted in human emotion. With searing solos, polyrhythmic play, and unexpected turns, the sound merges soulful contemplation with high-energy exploration.

“From the opening track, “Frunked,” you know you’re in for something special. The groove hits hard right out of the gate — tight rhythm section, pocket deep enough to live in, and a vibe that feels both old-school funky and fresh at the same time. Man… What If is next level. It hits that perfect balance — smooth, melodic, and emotional all at once. You can tell it’s coming from musicians who live and breathe what they play.

“Skyscape” is melodic and fluid, built around Armando Lopez’s intricate solos that move like a conversation — confident, expressive, never forced. That tune says everything about the chemistry in this band — nothing wasted, everything intentional. Then “Refuge” — unforgettable melody. They turned what others might have over-complicated into an interwoven, lyrical journey — late-night sax energy with an Al Di Meola-style futuristic edge. It’s sophisticated but still human, full of feel.

What really stands out is how bonding and creative freedom become the same thing here — the way these musicians connect is the art. That shared energy is what makes the record breathe. The production is clean but real — no gloss for show, just clarity that lets every instrument speak. Every track tells a story, and together they make a statement.

What If isn’t just another fusion record — it’s a conversation, a pulse, a soul-level experience.
